Nancy Maeda, Vice President at List Sotheby's International Realty, is responsible for leading its new development sales and marketing efforts in Hawaii.A veteran in new-development real estate for more than two decades, Nancy has led teams through visioning, design development, branding, entitlements, community relations and government relations. Her successes include the master-planned communities of Ocean Pointe and Hoakalei Resort in ‘Ewa Beach.She understands and embraces the importance of the landscape in Hawaii history and culture. She is able to capture a project's full potential, plan for its sustainability, develop its identity and help it become a unique, high-quality user experience that celebrates local context and character.Nancy also worked with a legal team to create the Hoakalei Resort Master Association. She also spearheaded creating the Haseko Training Fund for the ‘Ewa community and the Hoakalei Cultural Foundation, which supports area ‘kupuna.' or elders, to guide and champion ongoing development and to monitor the maintenance of preservation sites and wetlands.Prior to Hoakalei Resort, Nancy served as the executive director of the Ko Olina Resort Association.Nancy previously served as a trustee of the Historic Hawaii Foundation, is a member of the Urban Land Institute, is a founding member of the West Oahu Economic Development Association and has served as president of the Hawaii Resort Developer' s Conference.
